!Video Of The Day!

Self Respect, Is It Important To You?

How far do one plan to go just to prove that your accepted in another persons life? Is it worth degrading yourself? Being labeled something you know your not? Well some just go that far.

Sometimes in relationships, people tend to forget who they once were. Without taking this subject off to something totally different, I just want to say that a woman have the power to be more than what a man may label her to be.

I seen a couple that was very open in they relationship and the openness of the relationship made me question the woman's character alone. Now when your feeling someone, you like to be able to be out in the open with how you may feel for one another which may require some hugging, kissing(but not to passionate) every once in a while. But then it becomes a problem when private parts are cuffed and held tightly as if you lost it to a game of spades with someone.

Let me elaborate a little further. The couple that I was talking about in the beginning looked to be a young couple and the guy was really aggressive toward his girl friend that was very disrespectful toward her and any other woman because he was the definition to a lot of woman answers out here that questions on how men view us as woman. And it is, whats between the legs is what it all boils down to. Like the photo I have above, the guy was standing behind her but had something occupying one hand and his other was occupying her private part. Gripping it like it was some type of new fur he won at an auction!

To her, she seemed to be enjoying it because she was all smiles like, "How YOU doing" and that was not where it was at. I mean seriously ladies. You have the power to say what you like and what you don't like. Use your voice. Even if you do like it at that time but at least have some respect for yourself enough to say, "Baby, we out in public. Can we save for later on when we are alone". It will work wonders. If a man can't respect your wishes then he has no respect for you at all.

Now being young is not an excuse and that's what she think is probably the in thing and yada, yada, yada and it's what they see on T.V.......B.S....a person is old enough to know that behavior like that is degrading to self alone.

Have some DIGNITY Ladies!

Barack The Vote!!!

And we have one of the most sexiest men alive to grace us with his presence as being the President of the United States of America! I'm so happy for this Victory that has come upon us in this Millenium of 2008. On Election day, I was so nervous. Nervous with voting and the outcome for a change.

I came home on November 4th and went straight to the voting pole. My children and I because they were able to vite as well....even thought they votes doesn't really count at this time but it was fun for them. It was actually really quick! Unlike some places where it was long lines waiting to vote. It was REDICULOUS in some states. But it was good to see that people were really serious about voting this time around. If only people took the election this seriously when Bush was running for president because then the Economy wouldn't be so bad. Don't you think? But overall, it was a beautiful sight.

I even seen young men with only they're shorts on and some house shoes just to go and vote. Of course, I shook my head at the sighting of it. But it was worth it because no matter who they choose to vote for, they vote counted and it helped :) There is good qualities about us having Barack Obama as our president and then you have the bad qualities of him being our president. Let's start with the bad shall we..........

On Election day, I seen some people act in a such nonchanted way that actually....never seem to amaze me. But I guess by it being a Victory day, it seemed more outlandish to me. Whilst on the bus....Because me and a few of my friends decided to go out and encourage people to vote and if they wasen't able to vote to go in and register and be able to vote on the spot, you know, if they haven't already. So whislt talking to people, you have all type of people that would ride the bus. And a man got on the bus in which his body odor was a little loud. I mean, I didn't really smell the guy because by that time, I had worked my way to the back of the bus. The bus was CROWDED and it required for some people to stand.

So this guy gets on the bus and of course you got the loud, ignorant people on the bus who will always try to make a scene. It was two loud mouthed females on the bus in which one had a pink baby bag(with no baby to show for) wil give more details on the bag later on. And it was 3 loud mouth.........NO.....4 loud mouth guys on the bus. One of these guys wore a brown jacket...in which that is how I will prefer to him since I didn't know his name.

When the guy got on the bus, everyone started to talk about how he smelt. It must have been terrible because everybody was moving around and covering they noses. Me on the other hand didn't really smell him so it was like o.k he must really smell. So one of the female's was busy talking about how this guy smelt so bad. If he smelt so bad, why wasen't the people who was actually getting a good wift of this guy complaining how she was complaining?!....and she was in the back where I was. So people started to crack the window on the bus and everything which was a little funny to me. So anywho, one of the girls was like, "man, where something at so that I could spray his ass wit?" by this time, she was searching into the baby bag. And the girl that the bag belonged to told her not to search her baby's bag for her stuff. This is when the guy in the "brown jacket" chimmed in: "I was about to say, you aint got no perfume or something cause I'll spray his ass wit it"....smh...ignorance at it's finest.

So the girl goes to dig in the baby bag anyway saying, "Show do". And the girl who's bag it belonged to agreed all of a sudden. In which they just wanted to pull dudes bluff to see if he'll actually spray this other guy with the perfume. She finds it, then hands it over to him. The guy takes it and removes the top from the bottle. By this time, the bus driver was telling people to move toward the back some more because she was steadily picking up people and it required for the "stinky dude" to move toward the back as well. The guy in the brown jacket stood up to spray the guy who's hygiene was so bad. And yet, I have smelt this guy.

So he was spraying him like crazy and while the stinky guy was turning to move to the back of the bus, he caught the other guy spraying him...smh... The guy then tries to snatch the perfume bottle out of his hands. By this time they were tugging over the bottle in which it slipped both of their hands and flew into another person's lap. The guy with the brown jacket on then proceeds to hit the other guy in the face and says, "man don't you ever try to snatch nothing out of my hand". Fuckery at it's finest. And they were right in front of me! Myself, along with other passengers was like "Whoooo" when he hit the guy. The stiky guy of course didn't do nothing! He just stood there in quite a shock. He also locked to be intoxicated.

It was just horrible. And I'm like why? why on Election Day of all days?!?! Stupid stuff like that will make other races look at us like we don't need to let people like him in the White House. Because you know if other races mark us as being, crazy, disfunctional, unsatisfying or whatever else......they label us all.

What I want to say to MY black people is DON'T use our president as an excuse to act an ass for the next four years. Yes Barack is of our culture and I'm sure he's going to make sure that we live good. But....he's not only vouching for US as an one. He's vouching for everyone who indeeds lives in the United states of America! Do not use your color to try and get by and DO NOT use who we have in the White House as an excuse to get away with shit that you know isn't right. We made HISTORY! Now let's live History the right way.

BARCK THE VOTE!

WE DID IT!

VICTORY R US!!

OBama Family

The Obama family recently sat down with People magazine to talk about their family life. In a snippet of the interview below, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and wife Michelle tell People how they raise their girls in the public’s eye.

PEOPLE: Someone told me today that you don’t do birthday presents.

Michelle: No, because we spend hundreds of dollars on a birthday party and movie tickets and pizza and popcorn …

Barack: That sleepover is enough. We want to teach some limits to them. And their friends bring over presents.

Michelle: They get so much stuff that it just becomes numbing. Malia believes there is still a Santa Claus even though she’s a little wary because some of her friends are non-believers. But Malia says, “Ma, I know there is a Santa because there’s no way you’d buy me all that stuff.” [Laughing]

PEOPLE: So what does a slumber party at the Obama house look like?

Barack: They’re pretty noisy.

Michelle: The older they get, they just talk a lot. But they’re at the age where they’re pretty self-sufficient. [For Malia's birthday] we’re going to go swimming, see Wall-E, make pizzas, have sundaes.

Barack: I usually go for the swim but this time I want to go to the movie just because Wall-E has gotten great reviews. I find actually that children’s movies are the best movies these days. But I’ll probably, after that, peel off until the cake.

Michelle: [Laughs] “Peel off.”

PEOPLE: What does discipline look like in your house?

Barack: Mommy raising her voice.

Michelle: It’s usually a lecture. It’s a lot of conversation. Or it’s separating them. Or it’s saying if you guys can’t decide nicely what program to watch, then you don’t get to watch anything. It’s sort of pulling away a privilege. But in all honesty, we don’t have to discipline –

Barack: If you ask them to do something, they’re like any other kid …

Michelle: They’ll whine a little bit.

Barack: They’ll test boundaries. But if you say, “Guys, this is what we need to do …”

Michelle: An example of this is one night I was going out, I had to do a fund-raiser, and I told Malia, “You guys really need to have an early bedtime because you’ve got to get up tomorrow and have a busy day.” So my mom was there, and my mom doesn’t adhere to bedtime. She’s kinda, “Well, maybe you wanna start taking your bath…” But that night, she said she sat down to watch TV with them and they both got up, turned off the TV and left. And my mom was like, “Where are you going?” And they said, “We have got to go to bed early today, Grandma.” And they went downstairs, took their baths and went to bed, and my mom was just stunned.

50 Cent Say's His Babymama Is Holding His Son Hostage

Rapper 50 Cent says that his ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins is holding his 11-year-old son hostage. The rapper was recently given visitation rights to see his son but says that since the court battle over their long island residence,Shaniqua has fled with their son. In a new interview with Sister 2 Sister magazine,50 a.k.a Curtis Jackson gives us insight as to how the battle between him and his ex began:

The rap star insists the war of words began when he insisted on finding his son a better home and improving his education. He tells the publication, “It wasn’t important before the beginning of last year because he (Marquise) was being home schooled… I was paying a teacher $60,000 just to teach him by himself.“He was learning slower because it was just him and the teacher. So he needed to go to where he had the best possible schooling district and I found a house in the area that was, like, $1.5 million.”
But 50 claims Tompkins started receiving bad advice from friends, insisting on more child support to match her new situation. The battle led to the rapper winning a court order to evict Tompkins from the home he’d bought for her: “Her lawyer decided to present to the public that 50 Cent is kicking his son out of the house.”Since the fire, Tompkins has fled with the rapper’s son, as she battles custody and child support.
He adds, “Now they done kidnapped my first one (son). My son’s mother got him, holding him hostage.”

Michelle On How Her Children May Turn Out

“There are the small worries, micro-worries, about whether we’re doing all we can to let them be fully themselves, trying to make sure they have the space to be who they are and that they feel loved and supported. Then, there’s the macro worry about, ‘Okay, if we do our jobs and they turn out well as individuals, what kind of world are they going to be in?’ ~Michelle Obama’s thoughts on her kids (Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7).
